Memolife is an online community with web applications making it easy for people to learn faster, master new skills and increase their knowledge.
We are very much like a real life fitness gym, except that you train your brain instead of your body. People or companies simply choose their memberships and get access to all their mental training "equipments" such as games, applications, whitepapers and community tools online.
Brain training – the new social trend
Just like the fitness trend was started in the 80s, we see a similar trend for brain fitness today. After it was documented that the brain can be trained and actually continues to grow throughout our lives, there has been a tremendous development. The brain training industry grew by 1600% from 2005-2007 in the United States alone.
Background and team
Memolife was launched in Norway under the brand name www.hjerneklubben.no in May 2009, and is launching its international version in May 2010. The company was originally started by a small team from Norway, Portugal and Singapore. All team members had experienced using brain based, simple techniques to achieve results faster than the norm, such as completing a university degree in a fraction of the time, learning a new language in months instead of years or simply reaching goals faster.
By making the same techniques and concepts available to everyone, we saw the opportunity to create a community with how-to-articles, interactive applications and games.

Where are we going? Our philosophy is simple: in order to learn something fast, we need to have fun. ‘Edutaining people’ (educate + entertain) is the vision Memolife is guided by.
